Our products address key challenges such as rock mass stabilization, water ingress control, and mine support, helping improve working conditions and safety in underground mines. Our portfolio includes injection resins, grouting and rapid-setting cements, polymer capsules for rock bolt installation, as well as steel and composite support systems. All solutions are tailored to the rock type, groundwater conditions, and rock mass monitoring requirements specified in the customer's technical specifications.
CARBO-ZAKK provides comprehensive solutions for underground mining operations, from design to implementation. Our specialists support projects at every stage by conducting geomechanical assessments, selecting the appropriate materials and technologies (including injection, shotcreting, and rock bolting), calculating reinforcement parameters, and monitoring the results. Strengthening of penstock shaft PK-7 using CarboCryl methacrylate gels and full watertight sealing of 10 deformation joints at +388 m elevation with CarboPur and CarboCrackSeal injection resins. Reliable, long-term performance confirmed under high hydrostatic loads.
Elimination of active water seepage through construction joints 4–5 (+126 m) and 8–9 (+127.50 m) in the powerhouse using CarboCryl fast hydrophilic gel, CarboStop hydro-active resin, and highly elastic CarboCrackSeal. Complete dryness restored and maintained under full reservoir pressure.
