- Modernization and strengthening of load-bearing structures of penstock shaft PK-7

The works involved structural reinforcement and restoration of reinforced concrete elements of the penstock shaft.
- Sealing of deformation joints at elevation +388 m, sections 53–63 (10 joints), type II water stop

Technology and materials applied:
- Injection of fast-reacting two-component polyurethane resin CarboPur (Bevedol/Bevedan) through drilled boreholes along the full length of the deformation joints to a depth of 1.5 m (joint thickness 10 mm).
- Subsequent injection of flexible two-component sealing resin CarboCrackSeal to a depth of 400 mm using 14 mm packers.
The works fully restored watertightness and long-term sealing of the deformation joints under constant hydrostatic pressure.
The facility has been successfully operating since completion. The applied Carbo-ZAKK solutions have demonstrated outstanding efficiency and durability in the demanding conditions of hydroelectric infrastructure.
