This solution provides localized reinforcement of the rock mass without extensive intervention, enabling work in challenging conditions such as water-bearing zones and highly fractured rock. It also reduces the load on other support systems, including rock bolts and shotcrete. Polymer-based compounds (polyurethane and organo-mineral resins) are injected under pressure into cracks and voids within the rock. The resin penetrates even microcracks (from 0.01 mm), bonding the rock blocks together and increasing their shear strength.
