Additional information
| Short Description | Very Fast-Reacting Two-Component Injection Resin |
|---|---|
| Applications | Reinforcement of water-bearing and water-saturated rock formations, rehabilitation of water-affected underground structures, and sealing and strengthening of water-bearing zones. |
| Key Advantages | Free of CFCs and halogens, with excellent adhesion. |
| Operating Principle | A mixture of polyester polyols and additives (Component A) reacts with CarboPur (Component B) to form a viscous polyurethane resin. After the components are mixed, the resin is injected through a packer and foams upon contact with water. The expanding foam is forced into cracks by the continuous injection of fresh resin. In areas where no water is present, the resin does not foam but instead cures into a dense, non-porous material. |
| Packaging | Component A — 25 kg canister Component B — 30 kg canister |
| Storage | Shelf life: At least 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in a dry place at temperatures between 10°C and 30°C. |
| Recommendations | If the product has been exposed to low temperatures, it should be warmed to a temperature of at least 15°C before use. |
