| Product Name | Tekfom is a special fast-setting, one-component cementitious-mineral blend that forms a lightweight foamed mass known as Tekfom foam concrete. |
| Applications | ► Filling roof cavities, voids, and collapses to prevent further ground failure, as well as to reduce the risk of methane accumulation and spontaneous coal combustion ► Construction of permanent and temporary ventilation stoppings/barriers ► Filling the space between double isolation stoppings ► Construction of sealing barriers to eliminate air leakage |
| Component Description | Tekfom is a cement-based mixture. |
| Key Advantages | ► Highly mechanized method of foam concrete placement ► Classified as Hazard Class 4 (low hazard) with respect to its impact on human health ► Low material consumption for producing 1 m³ of foam concrete ► High construction speed, with production rates of up to 10 m³ of finished foam concrete per hour |
| Operating Principle | The lightweight foamed mass, known as Tekfom foam concrete, is prepared on-site by mixing the powder with water. The water-cement mixture is delivered to the application area using a MONO WT 820 pumping unit. The material is non-combustible, non-explosive, and non-toxic. A key feature of Tekfom foam concrete is that the air cells within the concrete are created through the physical mixing of air into the cement slurry, rather than through a chemical reaction between components. |
| Packaging | Packaging: 20 kg polypropylene bags with polyethylene liners, supplied in 1,000 kg bulk bags (big bags). |
| Storage | Shelf Life: At least 9 months when stored in dry and cool conditions. Storage: Store in a location protected from direct sunlight. |
| Equipment | Applied and pumped using a MONO WT 820 pumping unit. |
