Additional information
| Short Description | Instant-Curing Two-Component Injection Resin |
|---|---|
| Applications | Sealing and reinforcement of water-bearing zones (typically where water temperatures are below 15°C), strengthening of water-saturated and water-bearing rock formations, application in cracks wider than 0.25 mm, rehabilitation of water-affected underground structures, and waterproofing to prevent water ingress. |
| Key Advantages | ► Excellent bonding properties to all types of surfaces ► Upon contact with water, the resin components react to form an elastic foam, effectively stopping even significant water ingress |
| Operating Principle | A mixture of polyester polyols and additives (Component A) reacts with CarboPur (Component B) to form a viscous polyurethane resin. After the components are mixed, the resin is injected through a packer and foams upon contact with water. The expanding foam is forced into cracks by the continuous injection of fresh resin. In areas where no water is present, the resin does not foam but instead cures into a dense, non-porous material. |
| Packaging | Component A — 25 kg canister Component B — 30 kg canister |
| Storage | Shelf life: At least 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in a dry place at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. |
| Recommendations | Recommended application temperature: from +5°C to +35°C. |
