| Product Name | Geoflex R is a fast-reacting, low-viscosity, high-strength, non-foaming two-component silicate-isocyanate resin for injection applications, characterized by high bonding strength. |
| Applications | ► Road pavement stabilization and erosion protection ► Reinforcement of rock formations and loosened ground ► Consolidation of loose materials to prevent gravitational segregation and displacement (including ballast bonding) ► Strengthening of construction structures, including foundations, gabion walls, masonry, and similar applications ► Anchor fixing and anchorage reinforcement ► Foundation-free equipment anchoring and installation ► Numerous other specialized application areas |
| Component Description | Geoflex R – Component A – Special sodium silicate with additives. Geoflex R – Component B – Modified polyisocyanate that imparts flexibility to the reacted material. |
| Key Advantages | ► Excellent adhesion under both dry and wet conditions (up to 4 MPa) ► The resin does not expand in volume after the components react, preventing additional cracking or damage to the reinforced structure or rock mass ► Excellent penetration depth due to its low initial viscosity ► Does not react with water ► Its elasticity allows it to dissipate deformation energy caused by shear stresses and deform under load while maintaining its load-bearing capacity ► Highly resistant to acids, alkalis, salts, and many organic solvents |
| Operating Principle | After the components are mixed, the resin is injected through a packer (injection tube) into the structure or rock mass under a pressure of 60–90 bar. The reaction between the components begins in the mixer, and complete curing of the mixture occurs approximately 3–4 minutes after mixing. |
| Packaging | Geoflex R – Component A: 37 kg plastic canister. Geoflex R – Component B: 30 kg plastic canister. |
| Storage | Geoflex resin components should be stored at temperatures between +10°C and +20°C. When stored under these conditions, the shelf life of the components is at least 12 months. The materials may be transported at temperatures as low as -40°C, provided they are subsequently stored under warm conditions before use. |
| Recommendations | ► Before use, store the product for at least 12 hours at a temperature of no less than +15°C to achieve the recommended application temperature range of +15°C to +30°C. ► At ambient temperatures of ≥ +35°C, the product should be cooled to +20°C to +25°C before use. ► Localized overheating of the canister walls must be avoided. |
| Equipment | Compact two-component pumps such as SK90 1:1, CT DP-35, CT DP-40, and MRN, designed to deliver components in a 1:1 volumetric ratio, with pneumatic or hydraulic drive (including two-component pumps with manual, pneumatic, or electric drive). Injection accessories include: packers/sealing packers, injection and discharge hoses, shut-off valves, nipples, coupling fittings, and clamps. |
