| Product Name | Bevedol – Bevedan R VFA is a fast-curing, two-component injection resin, free from CFCs and halogens. As a result of the reaction, it transforms into a viscous polyurethane resin. |
| Applications | ► Sealing and stabilization of water-bearing zones, typically where water temperatures are below 15°C ► Suitable for cracks wider than 0.25 mm ► Stabilization of water-saturated and water-bearing rock formations ► Reinforcement of roof strata in mining production and development workings ► Grouting of rock masses to reduce gas permeability ► Rehabilitation of water-bearing underground structures ► Waterproofing to prevent water ingress, including water under high pressure in dams, parking structures, metro tunnels, collectors, and basements ► Waterproofing of mine workings exposed to significant water inflow ► Waterproofing of vertical shafts and tunnels ► Stabilization of unstable and fractured rock formations under water-bearing conditions ► Rock anchoring combined with reinforcement of the surrounding rock mass |
| Component Description | Bevedol P VFA – A blend of polyester polyols and additives. Bevedan P – A modified polyisocyanate based on diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI). |
| Key Advantages | ► Upon contact with water, the resin components react to form an elastic foam, effectively stopping even significant water ingress. ► Excellent adhesion to all types of surfaces. |
| Operating Principle | Bevedol P VFA – Bevedan P polyurethane resin consists of two liquid components that are supplied separately through hoses in a 1:1 volume ratio using a pump. The components are mixed in a mixer and injected through packers, anchor systems, or sealing devices into the rock mass or structure under a pressure of 60–90 bar. Upon contact with water, the polymer mixture undergoes a foaming reaction with a significant increase in volume. The expanding foam is forced into cracks by the pressure of continuously injected fresh resin. In areas where water is absent, the resin cures without foaming and forms a dense, non-porous material. As a result, a waterproof barrier is created. Recommended application temperature range: +5°C to +35°C. |
| Packaging | Bevedol P VFA – Component A: 30 kg plastic canister. Bevedan P – Component B: 35 kg plastic canister. |
| Storage | Shelf life: At least 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in a dry place at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. The materials may be transported at temperatures as low as -40°C, provided they are subsequently stored under warm conditions before use. |
| Recommendations | ► The reaction can be accelerated by adding the CarboAdd Fast accelerator. ► The resin components must be conditioned for at least 24 hours before use at a temperature of no less than +20°C. ► Localized overheating of the canister walls must be avoided. |
| Equipment | Compact two-component pumps such as SK90 1:1, CT DP-35, CT DP-40, and MRN, designed to deliver components in a 1:1 volumetric ratio, with pneumatic or hydraulic drive (including two-component pumps with manual, pneumatic, or electric drive). Injection accessories include: packers/sealing packers, injection and discharge hoses, shut-off valves, nipples, coupling fittings, and clamps. |
