polyurethane resin designed for injection applications.

Applications

► Extended sealing and grouting of cracks and voids in buildings and other
concrete civil engineering structures

► Suitable for use in tunnel linings, parking decks, concrete foundations,
and dam diaphragms

► Injection waterproofing through hoses installed within concrete
structures

Component Description

CarboCrackSeal R Component A – Polyester polyols and additives.

CarboCrackSeal R Component B – Modified isocyanate.

Operating Principle

When injecting the resin using a two-component pump, the resin components
are supplied separately in a 1:1 volume ratio and mixed immediately before
entering the packer by means of a static mixer installed in the injection
line. The resin mixture is injected into the crack or void being sealed
until the resin begins to emerge from the control outlets.

CarboCrackSeal R Component A – 20 kg plastic canister.

CarboCrackSeal R Component B – 22 kg plastic canister.

Storage

Shelf life: At least 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in
a dry place at temperatures between 10°C and 30°C.

Recommendations

The polymerization reaction can be accelerated by adding an accelerator.

Can be applied using a single-component pump.

Equipment

Compact single-component or two-component injection pumps with manual,
pneumatic, or electric drive, along with injection accessories such as
packers/sealing packers and embedded injection hoses.
